Ben began playing baseball with tee-ball at the age of 3. In his older childhood, he played for the Georgia Stars with his team ranked #1 in the nation in 2003. Ben attended high school in Lexington, KY at Lexington Catholic where he was a two-sport athlete, football and baseball.
